ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

A type of plastic piping used in plumbing systems, known for its strength and durability.

Backflow

The unwanted reverse flow of water or other substances into the potable water system.

Cleanout

An accessible opening in plumbing pipes that allows for clearing of blockages.

Drainage System

A system of pipes used to carry wastewater and sewage away from buildings.

Faucet

A device for controlling the flow of water from a pipe.

Flush Valve

Greywater

P-trap

A U-shaped pipe under sinks and other fixtures that traps debris and prevents sewer gases from entering the building.

Septic Tank

An underground tank that treats wastewater through biological decomposition and drainage.

Water Heater

A device used to heat and store water for domestic use.
